About Me
Jaz joined the Sliema Pack in 2008 and soon moved up to the Sliema Troop in 2009 where he celebrated 100 years of Sliema Scouts. Jaz won best patrol of the year in 2013 within the Owl Patrol which he later became the PL of in 2014 where he won best patrol of the year a second year in a row.
Jaz moved up to the Venture Unit at the end of 2014 where he served as Chief Executive Officer of the Unit in 2015 whilst also attending the 23rd World Scout Jamboree in Japan.
Jaz then moved up to the Rover Crew in 2016 and shortly after became a Troop Leader in January 2017, and later took on the role of Group Quartermaster in mid 2017. After completing the Getting started in 2017, Jaz also took on the role as the Assistant Rover Crew Coordinator in 2018 where he completed his pathfinder specifically for Rovers in early 2019 and soon after became the Rover Crew Coordinator in mid 2019.
After completing the Basic for Rovers in mid 2019, Jaz attended the 24th World Scout Jamboree in West Virginia and Celebrated 110 years of Sliema Scouts. In late 2019 Jaz attended the Advanced where he hopes to become a fully recognised woodbadged leader by the end of 2020.
