All Adult Leaders are volunteers who give their time and energy for the benefit of youth members and encourage them to participate in a full and active programme which provides positive learning experiences.

The current Leaders have undertaken relevant training to fulfil their roles within the group and to widen their skills and interests. Amongst others their collective training (individually or group sponsored) includes : Adult Leader Training (Pathfinder, Basic & Advanced) (aka Wood Badge) – The Scout Association, First Aid – St John / Malta Red Cross, Land Rescue – Malta Red Cross, Instructor & Assessor – Presidents Award Scheme, One & Two Star Award – British Canoe Union, Canoe Instructors – Malta Canoe Racing Club, Advanced Open Water Diving – PADI, Fire Safety – FSE, Bronze Medallion – Royal Life Saving Society (Malta), Keeping Children Safe (Child Protection) – NSPCC (UK), Understanding Young People in Today’s Society (UoM), Working with Children with Dyslexia (UoM).

They are all focused on providing the best Scouting programme possible in a safe environment.
